I am trying to keep you informed of what I am doing / have going on in my life. I have a new job starting tomorrow, not so good for the Ultimate Edition Team. My understanding 12 hrs a day 7 days a week. I will do what I can when I can. I am going to try and punch the following to the web this eve.

I would have rather had KDE the default enviorment, time is not on my side. Ultimate Edition 3.3 has KDE, XFCE, LXDE, E17, & Gnome. No, I have not forgot about the 64 bit users of 3.01. I will come back to address. Time permitting.

I chit chatted with JohnnyG one of my fine Admin on the horn the other day. He made me realise I do not keep people in general in the loop of what I am doing, nor do I educate new users of what Ultimate Edition is. Let’s resolve the second issue first & unbiased, the first issue I will re-address.

You will not be disappointed after what I have seen building it 😉 I could preach all the good it will bring you, this is not my job. Evidently I am not intended to spend my time programming 😉 6 operating environments, I want my users to be able to see what is coming. Excuse the passing of Ultimate edition 3.1, I will pick it up. You know what I want 0 mention this O/S exists. I see the numbers & it no longer intrigues me, nor does it make me happy. The only happiness I look forward to is the end user.

This is what grabs me, I see statements like that and I begin to perceive, sorry I am out for your best interest.

No, I have not forgot about the 64 bit users of 3.0.1. I have alot and I mean alot of catch up work. I am handling it in the best way I know how, move forward address the past later.

What you are seeing is Ultimate Edition 3.2, no I did not forget about 3.1 see note above 😉 I will tell you this this O/S is a one of a kind. It has 6 environments: Gnome 3, Gnome Classic, Gnome Fallback, Unity, Unity 2D, XBMC all selectable from the login screen. Tons of software and only currently weighs in at 2.7GB. Simply amazing… By request of a few disgruntled users of a "Mint" based system, I turned a new leaf:

Ultimate Edition 3.0.1? Wow, where to begin. I tried to keep this under wraps, this is what Ultimate Edition 3.0 should have been. I have taken the time to rebuild it from the ground up 100% by me, mass changes between what 3.0 and what 3.0.1 is.

Do not take my word for it. Want to take it for a spin?

I took the time to download ~200 GB of info from our server thinking an issue on my end. Travis excuse if I chopped your name from hostgator ensured that It was on my end the script was wp super cache. I had removed and re-installed it. Sent to me on the 9th. I am used to getting the hammer. I took the time to lamp up UE and was not an issue. So I contacted. Those issues are behind us now.

Lets move on to larger issues, Ultimate Edition 3.0.1 x86 has been dropped. Damn a 2.6.5 resides there.

I will come back and address issues at hand. Wow; a new Ultimate Player also resides, programming I have been a busy beaver, just wait until you see it.

I have many projects in hand. Ultimate Edition 3.01 as I have announced and released at least admin side, has been met with scrutiny. I love our admin, not afraid to nit pick. I ordered a few toys out of pocket to accelerate my job a couple SSD’s:

Hmm, no 64 bit Ultimate Edition 3.01 or 3.0 for that matter It is in works utilising as a tool admin feedback. Please sit tight. I have a few other things I will upload simultaneously. The screenie shows 2.6.4 does that exist? 2.6.5 has been produced. Like I said sit tight. A gig a second when I ask my computer to get things done won’t be long.

I want you to think in this way, if they did not scrutinise you would have crap. Delay is a welcome delay. Thank you 50+ admin.

Today is my birthday. I thought I’d share a little gift with you. It will be uploading this eve.

Night and day difference 3.0 v/s 3.01. Hopefully after the admin, mods and testers run it through the ringers we will have a release.
