Nothing like transfer.

I will call Ultimate Edition 5.1 success. I typically look at downloads as an overall basis of a successful release (roughly 100 Terabytes in less then a week). There are many factors that adjust this value. I have in the past tried to place individuals as my repository managers 0 and I do mean 0 wanted that job once they knew the damage they could cause the individual that installed we will call Ultimate Edition 5.1 as an example. Less then a week 12,000+ are running it. The Ramifications become massive as you look back and see a few 100,000 people running an older O/S. Millions overall, I have taken matters into my own hands and elected software to do so for me. You know better at least some do as Repostorm.

When you remove the human mistake factor, software does not care. You will see emerging technologies doing the same Artificial Intelligence has stopped me from continuing forward with Repostorm. I did not expect AI to step to the plate so early & would gladly turn over Repostorm to AI. I may buy technologies to do so for me to enhance the storm. The end result is to make the world a better error free place. Please bare with me as transitions take place.

Please feel free to post comments of your experience with Ultimate Edition 5.1. User feed back = better Operating Systems in the future.

I downloaded 5.1 3 times and burned the ISO on 2 different systems at 16x and 6 x but when I checked the disk it had errors and would not install to my system.I downloaded 5.0 and burned it on 6x and it installed first try.I do not think it is a hardware issue, possibly a bad download file. This system is running multiple OS’s,win XP,Linux Mint 18.1 cinnimon Serena and Ultimate 5.0,all on seperate hard drives.I would like to install 5.1 but so far I am not able to. Intel P45,QX 6850 quad core at 3.0 GHZ,8 GB DDR3 1333,300 gb Veloso rapter,240 gb corsair SSD,150 gb Veloso rapter hard drives,1 gb AMD PCie video card,520 watt ps.Its a oldie but a goodie.

Thanks everybody for the positive comments. erepapa, many and I do many have successfully installed Ultimate Edition 5.1. I would nominally say it is your video card, however if you have been successful with 5.0 that goes out the window. Always and I do mean always burn any O/S at the drives slowest speed. Did the MD5sum check out on the ISO downloaded?

So I was sittin around bored trolling the net and found this contest to vote for the 2017 Linux of the year and they had all of the usual OS’s Suse,Redhat and on and on and other so I put in Ultimate Edition as I think you guys deserve some recognition for making Ultimate just that the Ultimate Linux Distro. Hopefully more people will catch on cause I may run a VM with other distros but for the last 4 plus years Ultimate Edition has been my go to OS.Thanks Ultimate Edition Team for all of your hard work and dedication.
