Any Gamers in the house?
by TheeMahn on Aug.12, 2011, under Gamers, Linux, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition
I would like to announce the release of Ultimate Edition 3.0 Gamers. It is built off Ultimate Edition 3.0 Lite to provide the maximum room for more games like 21 blitz. This is not a major distribution as Ultimate Edition 3.0 will be is intended with one purpose in mind and that is GAMES!!! You can read more about that here.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome aboard our new Editor Meister, he by the way wrote the Ultimate Edition 3.0 Gamers page. Artwork complements of Cowboy. I hope to catch on a server perhaps we can battle it out.
Enjoy,

Ultimate Edition 3.0 Lite
by TheeMahn on Aug.02, 2011, under Gamers, Linux, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition
Well ladies and gents we now have Ultimate Edition 3.0 Lite. Please do not make this into what it is not. This is a lite edition made for computers with low resources. It is in no way even close to what the non lite Ultimate Edition 3.0 will be. This is specifically designed for computers with low resources IE notbooks etc. You can read more about that here.
Just a heads up Ultimate Edition 3.0 Gamers is being tested. I used lite as the base of the build why? Mr. Breeg and I were chewing the fat on my intentions with Gamers Edition, he asked if I was going to strip apps from Ultimate Edition 3.0 to make room for games. A bell went off why strip apps when we have a lightweight O/S with the bare essentials. Makes tons of room for games & what is the purpose of gamers? Let’s play some games ๐ Screenshot and artwork courtesy of Cowboy. The list of games is too big for me to fit in one screenshot is the end result ๐
Enjoy,

No rest for the wicked ;)

Take everything as a grain of salt. I have built Ultimate Edition 3.0 lite nothing short of 50 times today. I love building lite, why some may ask? Because I can build it 50 times in a day ๐ Errors that show up here I quickly smash and move on to the next build & task at hand. Repomaster has handled a great majority of them for me. 0 research just know errors are gone with 0 effort, awesome tool & it is far from done. I should be focusing on it not the distro.
I know I too am like a kid in a candy store, where is Ultimate Edition 3.0 already? Well same goes hand in hand, you will not have Repomaster in 3.0. I have had literally a ton of obstacles in my path on Ultimate Edition 3.0’s production. I have re-opened Donations, I do not want to openly explain why I shut them down in the first place for the past 4 or 5 months. I thank all those that have donated & would appreciate a continuation in this department. I have my work cut out for me. Non lite x86, x64 and gamers as such. I am hoping to have Repomaster integrated in Ultimate Edition 3.1, then you will understand what all the “HOOP LAH” was for. Well you deserve a peek right? JohnnyG’s work @ least wallpaper all is subject to change ignore my current theme. Cowboy has some nice graphical handywork also being considered, so all may change:
3 AM, no rest for the wicked ๐ Let me handle software. I am somewhat oblivious to eyecandy. The military gave me a 3.9 eval of 4.0 why? I lack attention to detail. We have others that handle that department. Once set as a service 1 build eliminate human intervention & errors melt away.
TheeMahn,
Let’s go for a ride…

I am in much better place as far as a computer & yes very much still alive. Space has always been an issue with me, 8.1 TB, we do not count SSD’s and raptors in house issues now gone. I have been prompted to drop my project at hand to make a lite again & bring UE 3.0 to light. The project I had at hand was an eye opener to nix users (note the service switch), we are in no hurry right? I like the lite, light I refer to. Please do not impede me, I understand my job. We are not here to rush in as some others right? I have your back.
Wait until you see what I have in store for you ladies and gents. I try to think outside of the box. Work with me please. You will see that later.
TheeMahn,
Thanks for caring…

A lot has change on my end, Mr. Breeg let me know our sites were down. The next day it came back up after I paid for it. I have been without inet for nothing short of a month, deter-mental to a fella like me. Like I said alot has changed. I no longer reside where I did. Funny, a month off-line did not deter me, 14 GB of ebooks say the end results you will see, some may say thank you for going offline, but that is later.
I am back with purpose & the true purpose is programming. You will see it. Ultamatix can eat it. The impact of what I am writing? Initially, all Linux based O/S’s. What is the “Other O/S”?
TheeMahn,
Let’s get some attention…
