Ultimate Edition 3.0.1

Ultimate Edition 3.0.1? Wow, where to begin. I tried to keep this under wraps, this is what Ultimate Edition 3.0 should have been. I have taken the time to rebuild it from the ground up 100% by me, mass changes between what 3.0 and what 3.0.1 is.

Do not take my word for it. Want to take it for a spin?

    I downloaded 3.0.1 yesterday and , wow, you really did a great job in fixing it. I have an older machine and 3.0 just wouldn’t work right for me. But 3.0.1 is working great. Thank you.

    I love it! It’s blazingly fast and my ATI graphics work out of the box. No proprietary driver, one. Dual monitors, bam! I-net, BAM! And only on a dual core cpu at 2.9 Ghz. Wondering how impressed I’d be with a quad or sextcore cpu at the same speed. UE Mint blows all others away! WTG G-Mahn! Thanks!

    I was just wondering if anyone knows if VMware Workstation 8 will work with Ubuntu Ultimate? Also, which Ultimate 64bit version is the best? I have used Ubuntu Lucid so far and Fedora (for school)

    3.0.1 is great. Everything works right out of the box in live mode. 32bit is good 64 would be better. When will 64bit be ready? Keep up the good work. You are truly appreciated.

    burned it to disk and usb and it goes to login screen which I can’t get into

    wow.. it’s great btw.. but what about another new x64 edition. i run a PhenomII x6 with 16gb ddr ram and 2x pcie Revodrive3 120gb ssd so could do with a faster build for my server!!! .. I love and prefer Ultimate Edition to any other linux variant, you do great work on this !!

    Yes, 3.01 clears up the problems with repositories quite nicely.
    Thanks for all the hard work.
    I reinstalled UE 3.01 over the UE 3.0

    I regret to say…its been good for me until now. Linux Mint…i never liked it…and now UE is Mint based. and Ii tried it out..3.2 64bit. tester. Its not for me. And no fault f Thee Mahn or the Admins. I just dont like Mint. And Thee manhn you said it would be different. Its too different for me. I will continue to support UE..however I have to drop out of using any new versions because my machine is gettin old…and it wont do the new stuff. sorry…It ooks great but not for me. Thanks for all the 4 years I used it. :)ll

    Fantastic edition. Very stable, running on a 5 year old laptop without a single problem and quite quick. Soon my new desktop when and if a 64 bit version is available to use the extra ram.

    I have been hooked on U.E. for awhile now and really don’t want to use another distro. That is why I must mention that a 64 bit version hopefully is in the making. U.E. will die if not.
    I only have one problem with Linux and that is that Skype is really bad to the point of being dysfunctional. Why do I keep having to return to windows because one thing is always lagging in Linux? 99.8 % of the time I’m using U.E. 2.9.

    better performance than anything i have ran before it.but i would like to be able to install the games like on 3.0 Thanks for the hard work Great job I wish I could assist you with making Ultimate.
