No rest for the wicked ;)

Take everything as a grain of salt. I have built Ultimate Edition 3.0 lite nothing short of 50 times today. I love building lite, why some may ask? Because I can build it 50 times in a day ๐ Errors that show up here I quickly smash and move on to the next build & task at hand. Repomaster has handled a great majority of them for me. 0 research just know errors are gone with 0 effort, awesome tool & it is far from done. I should be focusing on it not the distro.
I know I too am like a kid in a candy store, where is Ultimate Edition 3.0 already? Well same goes hand in hand, you will not have Repomaster in 3.0. I have had literally a ton of obstacles in my path on Ultimate Edition 3.0’s production. I have re-opened Donations, I do not want to openly explain why I shut them down in the first place for the past 4 or 5 months. I thank all those that have donated & would appreciate a continuation in this department. I have my work cut out for me. Non lite x86, x64 and gamers as such. I am hoping to have Repomaster integrated in Ultimate Edition 3.1, then you will understand what all the “HOOP LAH” was for. Well you deserve a peek right? JohnnyG’s work @ least wallpaper all is subject to change ignore my current theme. Cowboy has some nice graphical handywork also being considered, so all may change:
3 AM, no rest for the wicked ๐ Let me handle software. I am somewhat oblivious to eyecandy. The military gave me a 3.9 eval of 4.0 why? I lack attention to detail. We have others that handle that department. Once set as a service 1 build eliminate human intervention & errors melt away.

Hello again Thee, I really like the logo now. I was wondering when you would make it front view. I mean with the 3d effect. You do what you have to do and what you want to do and how you want to do it. Im sure anything you come up with will be good.

Hey TheeMahn,
You’re doing a Great Job! I agree with others who say “no rush on 3.0” Anticipation and suspense are a good thing. I’ve been following your work for some time and finally decided to register. I’m still a newb when it comes to Linux. I’ve tried just about every distro out there, and I’m positive Ultimate Edition is the best out of the box. Anyways, just thought I’d drop a line, gotta get back to reading some more code.

great work. looking forward to the ‘error free’ os of 3.1
will there be a gnome 3 option? gnome 3 is now my favorite ui out of all and 3.2 will fix many of the problems that exist currently.
July 22nd, 2011 on 7:31 pm
I certainly hope you DON’T have a Gnome 3 option!

I’ve been quietly following UE for a few years now (started back in 2008) and with 3.x series about to be unleashed, I thought I’d throw my two cents in… TheeMahn, your work is nothing short of awesome and well worth the wait! Thank you for sharing your talents with the world!

i very much my admirer these Ultimate edition who broadcasts all of them what I knew only in my guy, i hope so into this that it will come next now already a lot will be all compatible one one is mentioned and this a burning trouble : VGA Card ATi Radeon HD 6xxx support to run correctly without suffering the system than his companion in this version already this phenomenon it will be remedied ?

John aka Goliath a good friend of mine runs a ATI 6870 or 6970 and works fine in UE 3.0, however in UE 2.6.2 it does not know what his vid card is. I am sure there is a fix for this I have not had the time to look into.

I downloaded UE 3 today burned the cd no problems there, Rebooted my Intel i5 system. it started to boot no problem. hit try w/o install, saw the nice new flash screen, luvly progress bar moved to 50% then crashes into verbose black screen with unreadable text
booted my old systems Intel quad core up with it Bingo on problems like what I see, now I’m going to play with it, then try it on my Toshiba laptop
I might be your oldest fan at 69 yrs young, I’m running UE 2.9 on my Intel i5 system and just adore it. Best distro ever kicks everyother distro’s ass out in the cold
Thanks keep up the excellent work,

thanks, I’m curious why it did not work on the one particular system. We have had one other individual on the forum have problems and was left at a prompt. startx was all he needed to do. I guess ppls milage may vary. The sweet boot screen was made by JohnnyG. I love the talent we have on board. Thanks again.

I don’t know where to post this message but UNITY sucks. Please stick with GNOME.
December 2nd, 2011 on 3:32 am
I will not only stick with gnome, but wonder why ppl deviate from it ๐
