Sounds like a notation from a prick, far from the truth:

Untitled

I apologize for the downtime on the forum, things will no longer effect you as a general user. I am diligently working to advance things to perfection w/o disruption to your services. Manage 13 services, I did ask no-one “WANTED THE JOB”. I am shocked I have now a secretary, handling millions of emails & might I add a top notch beta tester. Kudos comes with jobs & job titles. I have asked 50+ admin if they want that job, negative. Police 17,000+ people they are ok with that. Imagine my position.

If I ask you to do something please do it for me… Can you imagine what my job is like on the Ultimate Edition side? It is not my only job BTW, I work 40 minimally before I come to ask you.

I do have heavy things coming your way, dont tie my time with setting up servers please.

What are we seeing here above? No, I did not run out and buy a 20 core processor (they currently do not exist BTW). 64GB of ram & a 640GB SSD. Welcome to the world of virtual computing, or VPS (Virtual Private Server).

I want you to be well informed, all the above was while 4 other operating systems were being simultaneously being generated. Does not breathe on that kind of power. A single server answering your beckoning call. My Ultimate intention to soothe the savage beast within you.

Nastiness at it's finest.

Nastiness at it’s finest.

At the same time spitting webpages to thousands of people, got to love that πŸ˜‰ I am enhancing tmosb so you do not have to build your own Operating System. Let 20 cores chew through that with the quickness. Customization is not there YET!!! A few lines of code and that beast wakes up as well.

Chunking it up

Chunking it up

I am very friendly to PHP, I have wrote an entire CMS (Content Management System) in php in 2004 from the ground up. The integrated caching system in tmosb will do nothing, but accelerate the entire process. From here forward, let nothing I do shock you πŸ˜‰ You may wonder why the high CPU peaks in the above graph, Parallel processing. I do not care if you have 1000 processors mksquashfs will use 100%. The blue peak on the top outgoing traffic is it shipping the final Operating System off to another server. Ladies & Gentlemen it is coming. It is not above me to drop the storm on that server & have it chewing you perfection. Why use your processor?

I have been absorbing the costs therein involved $640 a month for one server, usually bring it by the hour. We have have 4 servers right now & 13 domains. A balancing act, at least we are up. I have had mass issues with hosting. Eventually, may be $640 X 13, still miniscule compared to youtube, last check a million a month.

A Long way to go, not beyond me to dump money, the laptop for work will wait…

week

I did not trust them at first. I figured we will go down. I seen the 20 core and understand they are not hurting on resources. I want you to notice I did not refer you to their service at all in this post, let me hog that up πŸ˜‰ All in a week, will get worse before it gets better. The only negitive I can see is 1 Gigabit per pipe, 13 pipes makes them rethink their service & very quickly.

You do know, default UE 4.2 server puts your stats out there right?

I can shut them down, why?
This very website: http://ultimateedition.info/stats.html Stats updated by the minute & open to the world…
the same as http://ubuntusoftware.info, re-directed traffic.

Take this as a grain of salt, I rip this server down and bring it up under new circumstances all the time:
http://os-builder.com/stats.html

Want realtime stats? I will not rob you, same site name/linux-dash/ for example:
http://os-builder.com/linux-dash/

Chew on the chips πŸ˜‰ they are defaulted to show you the same info as per server. I’m not trying to hide any info from you. All running “Ultimate Edition 4.2 Minimal Server LTS” It is optional to hide that data from users. Why? Am I lying to you?

I dont care if it the forum: http://forumubuntusoftware.info/stats.html A few million hits this week (do you notice the 5th is zero ppl), and I have provided the tip of the iceburg. Do you understand why we go down? Probably had ten domains to go. Even the hosting companies, Yes that is plural. cant see each other. You should be happy to have a fella of my calibre on your side.

I have done malicious activities in the past over ten years ago, now I look back at that as solid negativity & apologize for the damage therein incurred. I have turned over a new leaf. I know the endorphins fly in malicious activity, I can assure you with the utmost confidence it is ultimate failure.

One tends to begin to re-think the entire objective of Ultimate Edition in general. Software development is not new to Ultimate Edition users and sophisticates alike. We enjoy and embrace new technology as it raises it’s head. I read an article on Facebook & a programmer of over 30 years claiming programmers are at a loss due to ever changing hardware. This is not true, ladies & gentlemen. The answer is centralize hardware on a cloud.

Even though the above, would seem that I generated the first Ultimate Edition Server Operating System. Which It did, however the raw facts is uecorebuilder (a sub program of tmosb) generated the Debian file which technically built the Operating System that is online now, allow me demonstrate the 6 step process [2 are optional]:

STEP #1: Create a droplet:

step1

What the hell is a droplet, you may ask as I have heard 100 times in the past few weeks. It is a virtual computer or Virtual Private Server (VPS) of your selected power, cpu cores, ram etc. Sitting on high speed connectiviity or Internet to generalize it.

STEP #2: Setup DNS [optional]

step2step3

Let set up our domain, in this case http://ultamatix.com/ it will be shut down, I selected this domain for a reason. I will talk about that at a later date. Why is it [optional]? I can access the website via IP, in this case http://104.131.81.219 yeilds the same results as http://ultamatix.com/

STEP #3: Virtual Total Control

step4

This is w/o a doubt required, you are at this point setting a root password, funny if the server gets hacked (highly unlikely even though I am providing 90% of the info to hack it.) It is going down anyway, like I said more on that later. It takes me about 3 to 5 minutes to bring up a new server πŸ˜‰

STEP #4: Now Rooted up

step5

For the lazy types of copy and paste:
I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH: DO NOT INSTALL THIS ON YOUR RIG
wget http://downloadue.info/ultimate-edition-4.2-minimal-server-core-files.deb

STEP #5: TheeMahn up

step6

We don’t care it is a server right, I did say not to install it on your rig right? I know the lazy types:
dpkg -i ultimate-edition-4.2-minimal-server-core-files.deb
apt-get install -f

step7

It will prompt you multiple times to set your password, for mysql, apache etc.

STEP #6: TheeMahn up

step8

I am sorry to take credit for #6 and 5 as well. The package will automatically set your server up.

STEP #7: Upgrade [optional]

step9

STEP #8: Reboot the server

sleek

What did the package provide? Secure Apache2 off the rip, FTP server, php support, ssh support, wordpress. A server online with next to 0 effort. Not to mention stats setup off the rip.
http://ultamatix.com/stats.html <- updated every 10 minutes for your viewing pleasure. http://ultamatix.com/linux-dash/ <- Not good enough? Realtime stats.

BUILD

I am going to provide it as a <live distro to begin testing, the same server I pushed online will provide it to you. No where else on the internet. Try and beat it offline πŸ˜‰

Enjoy your weekend,

TheeMahn

Ultimate Edition will serve to you today

by on Feb.21, 2015, under Cloud Storage, Hosting, Linux, Programming, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

[ad#wide]

Please ignore this post… I am setting up multiple domains. Note this post does not exist on http://ubuntusoftware.info/ yet!!!. http://ultimateedition.info is a mirror. Expect errors as I work through them. Alot of work on my end for sure. Please be patient with me.

I stand corrected, they are still sharing the same mysql database & wordpress uses mysql for data, such as this post πŸ˜‰

In case you are wondering what is going on. We have purchased new hosting, 2 VPS (Virtual Private Servers) on a cloud gigabit+ connections also resting on SSD (Solid State Drives). I have been setting up domain after domain. What is spitting you webpages? The last hosting company A2 hosting <- They do not deserve a link. Shut us down for excessive traffic. I have used the money refunded to purchase 2 Virtual Private Servers & loaded unreleased to the public currently Ultimate Edition 4.2 Server a LTS (Long Term Supported) onto the Virtual Servers. A substantially more expensive alternative. The pluses are massive. More on that later. The forum and os-builder.com are also back up under new services by the way. Ultimate Edition itself will serve you today! I am stoked.

rolling

Not buying it? http://ultimateedition.info/doesnotexist.html

We are now on multiple digital oceans πŸ˜‰ Need more power, buy another ocean or resize it. Scalability with virtually no downtime. I have watched in realtime 80 Megabytes in one second. We will not go down again. I will fully explain it later. Similar to Amazon E2C services with minimal headache. I tried their service as well.

If you want to check out their services, let’s be thrifty about it:
Get $10 in your billing account for DigitalOcean server
ALLSSD10

Same code I used and actually a bad code compared to this one on a heavily trafficked server I would imagine:
$10 Free for 2 months virtual servers
DODEPLOY

I did not fully understand when I set it up, but I can assure you the last one is the way to go. I only spent $5.00 to begin with to check it out, you can rest assured there is now more then $5.00 in our account now. I have no issue or qualms about dumping more $ in there after what I have seen.

You can SSH into your account and control it the same as Ultimate Edition users do their own computer in a terminal only in this case via SSH.

ssh root@yourdomain.com

Once in, simplicity of a linux user steps in.

sudo apt-get install apache2

Unknowlegable to setting up a L.A.M.P (webserver)? Digital Ocean, has tons and I do mean tons of tutorials, teaching how to do so.

I’m sold. The future? I could drop the storm, yes that one is half up. Let’s have it on it and have it rebuilding and correcting packages for you. No sense in chewing up your processor when I can have 20 of them doing it for you πŸ˜‰ A ways down the line.

New hosting is in route…

by on Jan.16, 2015, under Cloud Storage, Hosting, Linux, Programming, Ultimate Edition

I purchased a years hosting today and I’m excited about the performance of the hosting company. The hosting package is the highest package they offer and it is SSD based. My first impression is it is a rocket at spitting & generating webpages. 16 GB of ram and 16 cores to get the job done, did I mention SSD based? As of current I have only moved one website to test its performance. 2 other sites are in route to the same account including this very website. Actually it is already there, just setting up sql database for it. I used software I am writing for the company I work for to get that job done. The forum will also be setup there.

I will probably stop at that point, it does have a Achilles heel as all hosting companies have restrictions that are put in place. Unlimited bandwidth does not exist ladies and gentlemen, if it does it too is restricted in the size of the pipe. Download of Ultimate Edition are in excess 2 Million recorded via sourceforge in the Petabytes I am sure. Try and eat that bill, thanks again sourceforge, does not include those that pull from Baracuda Networks Copy.

The next hosting package we will buy will be based on bandwidth, not cpu cores, ram SSD etc. The best of both worlds. http://os-builder.com/ for example gets the piss beat out of it in bandwidth, a juggling match in resources. It too will be moved, but to my next purchased hosting package. Research now becomes me in my journey to find something even close to eating Terabytes of consumption in bandwidth per month, that is w/o shutting me down for traffic insurge. I have seen 1/2 a Petabyte in a month in the past, in a interview with sourceforge I told them about it.

I did purchase another 6TB drive as I said in the previous post, I loaded $400 on my card. Thanks donors for the help in purchasing hosting. I will add your names to that list once I get this website moved. The SSD will have to wait. Hosting was priority #1. Next check will close the hosting conundrum, maybe I’ll buy a SSD then. The gap then closes on the pursuit to software perfection. Want to contribute to the next hosting service? Please by all means free to contribute. Good things are coming. I’m not just a programmer πŸ˜‰

Backup in progress…

by on Jan.03, 2015, under Cloud Storage, Hosting, Linux, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

I have personally taken a 9TB loss in data, I have a 6TB drive in route to replace and will order another one next paycheck maybe a SSD to raid for boot / building. Raid is fantastic where speed is taken into consideration, however the downfalls of the speed of raid 0 can be crippling. I have began backing up our web servers, locally initially then to our cloud. Redundancy at it’s finest. One website 50GB compressed and told it to exclude all ISO’s (Operating Systems). 10 websites to go thereafter.

Backup in progress.

Backup in progress. 4K monitor. So will probably be huge.

I am going to sell my 2 28″ higher than HD monitors and buy another 4k monitor, I am sold on 4K. I had no clue until I fired it up, read it was the bomb and found out I will never go back to HD. I have written software for 4K the first day. I love being a programmer, when I see something I don’t like I just “fix it”. I got a new job / position where I work as a Software Engineer. A office, a company laptop and a raise. I do program at home to make my job at work easier. They already have brought up copywriting software I have in works. A nasty tool that would help virtually any company. I’m sitting on it now, royalties or I will Copywrite it after all I did write it on my time off right? Or hire me as a programmer πŸ˜‰

I took a few minutes of my time and wrote a raid calculator. Wrote it initially with Ironman in mind. He unloaded 6 Western Digital Raptors on me to benchmark against SSD technology. Well I’m not going to half ass it, write a tool. Formatting the drive based on the number of spindles only 4 here we will wake up at least 5 when I am done πŸ˜‰

forwardraid calculatorraid calculator

The 9 Terabyte raid array I lost 3 X 3TB was 400+ Megabytes per second in speed, what would 4 yield? Smash a SSD at 12 Terabytes? Try and buy a 12 TB SSD, you best work at NASA or better. The loss has not deterred me. I hate to wait for anything in my world.

The backup that is in progress, expect disruptions in service. Next month I have probably $400 in hosting bill due, so anything you can contribute is welcome. I may make better money, but please do not expect me to eat it all. If I don’t have the funds I will shut it all down. I don’t mean to be threatning, but raw facts.

Ultimate Edition 4.3 (LTS) is in route

I hope people have enjoyed time with their families and look forward to spending additional time with them in the upcoming holidays. I wanted to thusly inform you we have a new O/S in route, quite bulletproof if I do say so myself. A few things I did have to manually intervene therefore tmosb is still not 100%. I have released the O/S to Admin, Mods and beta testers & so far 100% positive feedback. I am going to give it a day or 2 to trickle into the palms of all admin. No negitive feedback and a worldwide release will be in session, please stay tuned. Both 64 bit and 32 bit are done, uploaded and are in testing:

I can’t imagine why a platform that is open source, meaning I can see your source code and 100% understand what you are doing. They are thinking the users are not programmers, well not all users are users. I highly suggest a read of the entire article, not just where I am in writing the current document MALWARE in my Linux, we are not running Micro$oft here. I have got your back.

Let’s nip this in the bud now.
