Thanks everyone…

I would like to thank everyone for multiple things.
- Users, without you none of this would have been possible.
- Donators, we have hosting paid through the first quarter of next year. Without you we would not have websites.
- Beta Testers, Admin & mods. Without you, I would be totally bald from pulling out my hair. 😉
- Sourceforge for eating the tremendous bandwidth.
We have seen records in traffic and quite the rise in position on distrowatch:
According to Sourceforge 67,102 GB (thats not a typo) of transfer in just Ultimate Edition 3.0 over 19,000 downloads @ 3.5GB at the time of this post.
I intend to do a much better job in Ultimate Edition 3.1; I will have the time thanks to the holidays to finally spend. 😉
Thanks again,
TheeMahn

I would like to ask you a question, but can not do so too many ppl read my comments. If I say something it is like it gets chiseled in stone. If one of my admin says something it is something expected of me. I am in a pickle. The question I wanted to ask you is simple, but can not do so at this point.

Undoubtedly the best … I do not know what would become of me without the Ultimate …
Thank you? We have that to you … Thank you for everything … Very excited about the 3.1 … I have tested several possibilities and concludes that the project “MATE” is one of the most interesting … just my opinion … kk

Ultimate Edition will not stop. I may retire after Ultimate Edition 3.1. Ultimate Edition will live on at our admin’s hands. I am moving forward. 100,000+ a day in unsatisfactory, more on that later. Wait until you see where I am going. Sure, programming has been said. I will stop, before I get ahead of myself 😉

Sir, if you didn`t do another thing you would still have our collective thanks for building the best OS on the planet. And for just being you. By the way, I didn`t know you worked on F-14s! Go Tomcat, best plane ever built!

I worked on the last F-14D’s ever commissioned. Awesome plane. I am off for the day, not by choice my ride sick. Using my time constructively to build what the general consensus has asked for. I won’t let the cat out of the bag yet.

I was experimenting looking around for something, I have been using linux for years. Its my favorite OS. I stared way back when with Zenwalk(first distro ever), moved over to xubuntu, then later ubuntu, then mint. I really liked mint, but this whole Gnome3 not me, tried going back to xfce, but not the same. Thanks for having an awesome looking distro. I think I may be parking my bags here, just maybe we can get a torrent next time for download… just cause its a bit faster for many to download large distros like this. But kudos, great work and I love it!

Hello TheeMahn
I am not alone in saying that we do appreciate your hard work and effort.
Most of the transparency in all that happens with the development and your collaborators.
I know it may look like we do not care, but we do, not only for the distribution but for your staff.
We understand this last year has not been the best for you.
And much more for staff in past few months, from people that haven’t been here from the beginning.
For what it may be worth, we all thank you and your staff for a great job.
No matter what anyone may say, it is still greatest OS.
And no matter what the future may hold.
We thank you one’s again.

Yup, TM, we do what we can to keep UE alive and kicking. It’s a stompin’ OS and from the loooks of things, it’s quite popular in other parts of the world as well. Keep up the good work. The theme for Firefox is awesome!

I’m very happy with UE 2.9 and will reinstall when a 64 bit later version becomes available. I’m using 8 Gigs of Ram on my PC and am not crazy about fixes or a work- around procedure in using a 32 bit install. I’m sold on UE good job!
