I have started writing a F.A.Q. For Ultimate Edition users. Spending the time to write web pages does not rate very high in my list of priorities. 😉
The link is in the bar above or here. I am sure I have many errors to correct please feel free to comment on them in this post.

Just popped in to see whats new…wondering about an eta for 2.8. Love 2.7, but I am not a kde fan, really like how my laptop and my netbook respond with UE…Love it!

Ultimate Edition 2.8 will not “officially” hit the net until October, provided I do not have any issues. I do not work with release dates, I feel it is best if you get it when it is solid.

Fine with me…October to November, that’s a good enough eta for me…was just wondering. Still new to Linux. A lot of this is way over my head, but I’m not going back to Bills os.
Thank you!

Hey buddy..how are you? I was reading about burning DVD`S. My burner never burned ISO`s at the slowest speed.I started burning ISO`s in 2006. When I tried it on slow..it would freeze up or come up with an error. When I sterted using my newer machine…it burned fine. Then around UE 2.5 if you remember..I had alot of trouble. After a long while…I found out my burner no longer would burn ISO`s. I went through about 60 DVD`s. Then I bought a USB…and tried it. It worked and now it is all I use also. My DVD does everything except burn ISO`s. So there is no need to buy a new one.So dont get the wrong idea…I am not bashing anything..I only stated …Burning at the slowest speed did not work for me..I WANT TO BE CLEAR SO NO ONE BASHES ME. I AM SURE BURNING A DVD WITH AN ISO FILE IS THE CORRECT WAY. 🙂
