by TheeMahn on Jan.16, 2010, under Ultimate Edition
Wow, misunderstood, I built the the O/S as to be installable & failed, runs directly off the USB stick. I have placed intuition prior. Gamers is coming guess what we will host the event. Wait until you see the big picture. I hope to be able to hand you each your butt. We have a “new release” coming, prior to release of UE 2.6.
We will have a Gamers Edition…

You may have been one of the 90 or so that were grabbing it as I was uploading it. Please verify your MD5SUM. If it fails you will have to re-download it.

3,205,941,248 bytes , I feel is the first problem. I do not know the specs on a release I think ends in 408 as far as bytes. BTW this is not a forum. I greatly apologize to the 90 people that were downloading it as I uploaded it. Don’t be greedy please wait for a official announcement.

I dont know….I re downloaded it and it is the same amount of bytes.
i am not a genius as the others on here. I am an artist…so I guess I am a better artist than you, and you can say I am not as swift as you are on a computer. So I guess we are even.
i have no doubt I downloaded this after you had uploaded it…I am sure of it because I saw the anouncement it was ready, on Source Forge. To say ones are ” Greedy” is not relevant to this. If you are suggesting ones are ” Greedy…for your EGO..perhaps you should give it up and retire!
Thank you for absolutly no help. As for you do not have time..I never can leave a forum question, and I never can enter it!If you do not have time for your own, who do you have time for? Obama? your wonderful President…maybe He can help you.

Steven, Just because it is the same amount of bytes does not mean you have a good download this is why I provide a MD5SUM. This is neither the place nor the time to explain MD5SUM we have a forum for that. As far as my time yes indeed I am consistently swamped. We do have 50+ admin / mods to help solve your problems. If that is not good enough for you for free, then go download Suse or another distro that has 50+ devs. Retire, now that is a good 1

As for the Flash…or ” Adobe Flash…or whatever Flash…that is a lie because I have installed it on here…”install plugins”on Fire Fox…I would suggest if you cannot handle your creations…and or the ones who are using them…I suggest you give it up…why be unhappy…and have others unhappy?

I don’t know if its your fault. I had a TON of problems installing the gamers edition but nearly all of them were because of the Ubuntu 9.10 installer. First off, dmraid refused to recognize my drives as anything but raid. Second the live dvd refused to mount my drives preventing me from fixing anything. And third Grub2 was being a B!#H.(pardon language… spending 36 hours trying to fix something and failing leaves a bad taste in your mouth) There were a lot of trials/bugs going on with Ubuntu 9.10, I read that Canonical released 9.10 knowing of the many bugs just to stick to schedule (something they are known for I guess) Anyway keep up the good work.

Thanks bowbalitic, in the past I have taken it upon myself to fix wireless issues and found myself not writing a distro, but doing nothing but fixing issues. Somewhere I do not want to go.
